Abhay shows his acrobatic skills

Here are some pictures of Abhay doing some pretty cool tricks on New Years. The person he is with is Hari Narayan from Ghana.

Abhay wins Mayapur wrestling contest

You can see Abhay wrestling at about 3:30 minutes (with the red shirt that says Hare Krishna in the lettering of Coca Cola). Later in the video at 4:15 you can see him accepting the trophy. He won the heavyweight title of the competition.

The twins have found their voices

The twins are now almost 4 months old! They have really been changing dramatically in the last couple weeks and seem to do something new each and every day. Two things most noticeable to us is their newfound voices and sense of touch. They are starting to control their hands and be able to bring them to their mouth with ease and are starting to reach for toys and touching and grabbing clothing and blankets. As for their voices, last Sunday (28 Dec 2008) Sascha seemed to spontaneously discover her voice as her own and started exercising it with wee squeals and sighs. The video below was part of that day. Simon has been gurgling and experimenting with sounds for a few weeks, but his are more boyish than Sascha's. It is really neat to see how different they are that way. The video with him below shows how much he is amused by his older brother Graeme.

Mauna Kea Summit Trip

I finally got these pictures up of the trip I took there before I left Hawaii. I also got to do some stargazing, however, only a few of those pictures came out good (I was taking them by sticking the camera lens on the telescope lens).

The kids got to take a picture at "Santa's Surf Shop" in Kona this weekend... It was a muggy day. Only in Hawaii...

I got the job!

I got a new job at Boulder Community Hospital as a PC II Tech. The pay is a little less, but the experience I will be gaining is worth it. Plus I get 50% off my medical bills. :)
